We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our own: congratulations to Kieran Mylchreest, who has not only earned his NVQ in Groundworks but smashed it with a distinction. A feat our friends at CITB tell us is nearly unheard of!
At our Longport site in Canterbury, Tim Heads from CITB paid us a visit to present Kieran with his well-deserved certificate. We couldn’t resist sharing this wholesome team photo taken on the day. Smiles all round as we cheered him on.
Kieran’s achievement is testament to his grit, determination and commitment to excellence. But it also shows the power of our Walker Construction family. From the apprentices who train alongside him to the colleagues who lend a hand or share a word of encouragement when it’s needed most.
A special nod goes to Kieran’s manager, Brett Sidders, who once stood exactly where Kieran did as an apprentice and now leads the next generation with patience, expertise and pride. It’s this cycle of mentorship and camaraderie that makes Walker Construction far more than a workplace, it’s a community where everyone’s success is everyone’s success.
