Works to the dentist surgery consisted of the reconfiguration of the internal building, refurbishment throughout the practice and the conversion of the first floor.
The works incorporated three new dental surgery rooms, a conference room and two upgraded restroom facilities with generous disabled access. The first phase included the full steel framed building conversion, refurbishment and structural amendments throughout, turning the property into a fully functioning dentistry practice.
Works included the modification of partition walling, installation of suspended ceilings, fire doors, flooring, mechanical and electrical installations and amendments to existing as well as painting and decorating throughout the building.
The entire first floor area and ground floor ceiling were fire proofed as well as the floor being structurally reinforced to allow for the extra weight of the heavy dental chairs. The ground floor works consisted of the reconfiguration of the practice’s entrance area, construction of a purpose built reception desk, enhancement works to the staff kitchen and administration areas and alterations to the customer waiting area.
Additional works included the installation of lighting and the addition of a roof mounted air conditioning unit.

The building was in full operation during our works and as a dental practice the need for strict hygiene, we kept up good housekeeping throughout the project. Therefore very good housekeeping procedures were required. Site access was via a fire escape for the duration of the contract to minimise disruption to the practice users.
