Employed by Amey to undertake the public realm high street
regeneration scheme.
Works consisted of road and path construction of Ovary Liberty, Market Street Market Place and Lowfield Street, these all adjoined to Dartford High Street that ran adjacently to our works.
This project comprised of the installation of new drainage and ducting, excavated carriageways and footpath and lay new paving from China. Two areas of carriageway required planning out and resurfacing. We installed planters again from China and carried out landscaping works.
Throughout the regeneration works of Dartford Town Centre, we have split the job into phases of works, these consisted of phases 1 to 5 and this followed the one way system of the road layout. By doing this it allowed us to work with the traffic flowing around the works with minimal disruption, closing one path at a time to allow us to complete the works whilst letting the public move around site. ​

Dartford Town Centre is now a public space that’s much more about trees, planting, and green spaces than it is about concrete, railings and bollards. They have created new ‘pocket parks’ to provide calm, natural spaces to enjoy a break or just kick back and relax over coffee or lunch.
