Lippitts Hill Heli Pad

Description: Refurbishment Works
The works:
The works involved the construction of a new Heli-strip to enable low gradient take off and landing at the Air Support Unit and associated building works. The works included civil engineering work to provide the levelled heli-strip surface. The installation of associated ground drainage and the installation of manually operated aeronautical ground lighting and associated equipment. We also carried out reinstatement works to the paddock structures and boundary fence lines and various other building works.

The works involved minor alteration to the alignment of the junction with Church Street, the introduction of a flat-topped road hump, the reconstruction of the amenity area fronting the shops including laying high quality paving, drainage to a maximum depth of 1.2m and road lighting.

Kings Lynn Car Park

We had to demolish the existing ramp and then construct a new ramp using PCC beams on tubular steel piled foundations.

Description: ROAD OVER RAIL VEHICLE INCURSION MITIGATION MEASURES
The works:
The works involved the reconstruction of the footway and the installation of a vehicle restraint system. We lowered the existing gully to level with the carriageway and re-directed the drainage outlet. Dropped kerbs and Vergemaster posts were also installed along with signing and road markings.

Folkestone West Station

Description: CAR PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The works:
The works involved installation of new fencing between car park and platforms, construction of new walkways from the platform to the coach waiting areas.
Construction of a new car park (incorporating the new marshall priors paving system) for South Eastern Railway Passengers and also a staff parking area.
The works also included new surface water drainage, construction of new Coach parking bays defined by raised islands.
Disabled parking area in accordance with DDA requirements, concrete kerbing to demarcate the car parking limits, tarmac works for surface finishing to car park.
Road markings to designate car parking, disabled areas and coach parking, installation of new lighting and power supplies.
Provision of new CCTV cameras and construction of concrete foundations for the location of bagged rubbish.

Waltham Cross Piazza

Description: PAVING WORKS
The works:
The works involved the removal and disposal of the existing paving and street furniture. The Installation of a complete new storm drainage system. We had to regulate the formation to achieve the new paving levels. We installed new Marshall York Stone paving and Tumble Setts, jointed with Easypoint mortar. New stainless steel street furniture along with relocating existing vehicle barrier’s were also installed. All the above works were undertaken without affecting the access to the shops and business within the area of works.

Brunel University Car Park

The works:
Provision of new car parking facilities and associated works within the Unversity’s Uxbridge Campus. These works included spaces for 254 cars and 19 disabled bays; the removal of all paving, street furniture, metal rails, bollards etc.. that were no longer required. New tarmac car/coach parking over existing surface, new pave 50 permeable paving to designers details, new and adjustments to existing drainage and service diversions.
