Fort Burgoyne

Fort Burgoyne was purposely built to defend the landward side of Dover Castle in 1861 and holds a Scheduled Monument Status. The fort is maintained by English Heritage and Natural England but had fallen into disrepair and a Stabilisation Plan was then implemented.

Fort Victoria was built in the 1850s and was designed to defend Sconce Point at the Western entrance to the Solent, opposite Hurst Castle on the Isle of Wight. Over the years the fort had fallen into disrepair and was in need of some major work.

This Denge Water Treatment contract was to install a facility so that the old water supply for Dungeness Power Station could be cleaned and filtered to drinking water standards and fed back into the water supply.

Denison Building

The complete building refurbishing work was carried out to an existing three story CLASP type modular building that was built in the 1960s. The building had a steel frame with lightweight floors and timber partitions, the external was made of timber curtain walling with glazing and metal framed windows.

Hawkinge Primary School

The project formed part of an ongoing programme for school improvement works. The objective was to build a new extension to the existing school to create and additional three classrooms and to build an extension to the school’s canteen to cater for the school’s additional requirements.

This project comprised of the building of four large classroom extensions simultaneously and refurbishing the children’s toilets and circulation areas without disrupting the day to day running of the school in any way.

Farnham Adult Learning Centre

The project was to install a new extension onto the existing listed building to form an art studio for the adult learning centre, this was one of the logistically challenging building contract that we have undertaken due to the position of the new build being at the rear of the property with no access other that a small footpath.

The project comprised of seven areas of works within the college grounds and building and the construction of a new covered (MUGA) Multi Use Games Area. The existing toilets were removed and the main wall extended outwards to triple in size the floor area.

Lullingstone Country Park

The project was to build an extension onto the existing visitor centre creating a new toilet facility with DDA compliant access for the parks visitors. The park and buildings are owned and run by KCC and the park is situated in an area of natural beauty and of archaeological and ecological interest.
